Spring break, not a break

Published March 13, 2013 by emotionless brain

It is spring break from school here, and this is no break. I took Monday off work to spend a day with my kids, and are sending them to camp the rest of the week. The ugly beast of discontentment is rearing its head. My son (who else), he is at the age where camp is not fun, but too immature and needy to be functional without structure. He is turning 12 next week, I hope I have convinced the kids that a trampoline will be a better expense than a party (about the same cost) because the trampoline (we have had one before) will provide many many hours of fun, exercise, and stress release. A party well after a couple of hours the fun is over.

Today the camp will be making candy sushi, yummy can I play hookey from work and go to camp?
